Calling on the deities in magic spells
It is common to call upon various gods and goddesses when practicing magic. These deities represent a higher
concept of energy and consciousness that can be helpful in focusing on the spell at hand.
Generally the deity is called upon at the beginning of the spell, then asked for blessings. Ensure that you thank
the deity at the end of the spell.
I have listed here some of the many deities that can be called upon for blessing your intentions or spell. Use
these as you like, and choose those deities who seem appropriate for the type of spell you are performing, and
with whom you feel a positive energy.
