Fall
Autumn is an exhilarating time of the year. The sky is the bluest. The air seems the cleanest. There is the excitement of a new or at least different wardrobe. There is the sound of leaves crackling underneath your feet. Unexpectedly you may sniff the aroma of wood smoke drifting in the air. You may feel a need to buy apple cider. If not cider, definitely you will want apples. You may remember Halloween parties where you bobbed for apples. It is cool enough now to turn on the oven and bake apples or an apple pie and your house will have the warm friendly smell of cinnamon and apples in every room. If you don't bake, now you can get candles that will give your home a hint of baking apple pie. The first frost can come on a clear night when the stars shine brightly. You will wake the next morning and the grass will sparkle as the sun shines on it. You will know winter is not far away so enjoy this glorious autumn weather.
