Magic Empowerment
This is where you are going to learn about magic and how it will empower you. Magic is real, just as real as breathing in and out. Magic is just as real as the computer you are now using. Do you know what makes you breath? Do you know how a computer works? If you don't know these things they may seem like magic. I don't understand the science that allows a big airplane get up into the air. Is that magic? No, I think it is science that I don't understand. Maybe if I really put my mind to it and studied enough I could understand how that plane gets off the ground. I have studied magic and I do understand how magic works. Now you can take a course in magic. I will be putting new articles on this web site every few weeks that will teach you about magic. You will learn how to be more in control of your life. I said your life, not how to control someone else. Real magic is being in control of you.
Happiness is a state of mindI get lots of e-mails and letters asking me how to be happy. The answer is just do it. Be happy. Start being happy this moment. Happiness is a state of mind. Happiness in not where you live, how much money you have, what job you have, who loves you or what kind of car you drive. Happiness is a choice. I have never heard anyone ask, "How can I be unhappy?" Yet, so many people tell me they are unhappy. I guess most people know how to be unhappy. Yet, it is easier to be happy than unhappy. It takes more work to be unhappy than to be happy.
A lesson in magicI have a wonderful drawing hanging where I see it everyday. It is a little girl with a smirk on her face saying, "Life is not fair!" I smile every time I look at it. That little girl is right life is not fair. You know what I say to that, "So what!" I can still be happy and I know there is no "fair". Now that is a lesson in magic. Life is not fair and I can still be happy. Another part of this lesson is that we do need reminders. We need symbols to remind us just how happy we are. We need rituals to enforce and enhance the happiness.
