March - Lion or Lamb
March may come in like a lion or a lamb. Either way there will certainly be a strong breeze and drifting on the wind will be a hint of green, the delightful scent of plants waking from their winter nap. Spring. Yes, Spring begins on March 20, 2012, the Vernal Equinox. There will be an energy alteration all about you. Enhance the energy by being positive. This can be a great period for you if you veto negative aspects of your life.
March Money
March is named for the god Mars, who can be aggressive at getting what he wants, particularly prosperity. You can be aggressive at getting the constructive things in your life now also, especially money. March Clean-up
Many are doing Spring house cleaning now, so open the windows and let the air float around your house. This is a good occasion for the women to check your cosmetics and throw out all old make-up. Do the same with your medicine cabinet and discard any out of date medications, check over the counter medicines too.
March Vernal Equinox
Spring is the beginning of the New Year for several cultures. This is a time of New Beginnings.. a time to let go of the past. The Vernal Equinox is an ideal time to rid yourself of negativity. Take a bath on the evening of before the Equinox with gardenia, jasmine of violet scented bath salts, bubble bath or soap to cleanse yourself of negativity and bring you harmony.
March Luck
Carnival is celebrated this month, bringing a little March Madness and fun. Be sure to eat some sweets to add charm to your life. And speaking of charm, let's not forget St Patrick's Day, when we all want some of "the luck of the Irish". Another sweet is maple syrup. The sap is dripping into buckets in many place in March. Boiling the sap down into golden maple syrup began with Native Americans. A note of interest --the Peace Corps was signed into order March 1, 1961 by President John F. Kennedy.
